About
Counselor's Circle was created in 2019 by three ​graduate students in the field of school counseling, who felt the need to create legal and ethical resources for school counselors and the community. With the demands of the profession and the changing nature of laws, Counselor's Circle aims to make it easier for school counselors to find up-to-date information on California legislation and California state laws, as well as the ethical standards that affect school counselors, educators, and the K-12 community.
We believe school counselors deserve adequate support and resources in order to effectively advocate for students.

Our Mission
Our mission is to make it easier and available for California school counselors and stakeholders to know and understand updated legislation related to school counselors and the K-12 setting in a comprehensive and accessible format.
Our Vision
Our vision is to create a space that is not only useful for school counselors but a space to also highlight individuals in the school counseling community who are currently practicing the ASCA Ethical Standards while abiding by the legal responsibilities of school counselors.
